Nature connects species. Nature connects individuals from Thoreau, Muir, Abbey, and the Bundy family. Nature connects scientists, resource managers, industrialists, and local communities relying upon its rich, or once rich, bounty. Nature also connects the expansive urban-suburbia-rural disconnect. While everyone’s perspective on nature may vary widely, and rarely are harmonious, nature still needs to find a way to persist.
